It is the lowest price on a Gap tall jean with a complete waist run.
High Rise Stride Wide-Leg Jeans · $44 (was $90), 50% off, tall 27 to 33, ten washes
Light wash indigo, Terra brown, Beach pebble and Washed black are four of the ten colors, and all ten are $44. Nine of them carry the complete run, and Dark tint wash is down to two waists.
Low Rise Long & Lean Jeans · $26 (was $90), 70% off, tall 27 to 33, Light indigo
Gap sells this cut in 19 colors, and Light indigo is the cheapest at $26. The Curvy Low Rise Long & Lean version is $26 in all four of its colors, with the same 27 to 33 run.
High Rise ’90s Slim Straight Jeans · $26 (was $90), 70% off, tall 27 to 33, Black wash
The New medium wash of this jean is the same $26 and carries a 24 to 35 run, which matches the ’70s Flare as the widest tall waist range at any of the four stores. The Poetic black at $35 is still there for a 27 to 32 run.
Mid Rise UltraSoft Baggy Jeans · $44 (was $90), 50% off, tall 27 to 33, Medium indigo
Seven of its nine colors are $44 today, and four of those carry the complete run, including Medium indigo.
Mid Rise Relaxed Flare Jeans · $44 (was $90), 50% off, tall 27 to 33, seven washes
All seven colors carry the same price and the complete run, so this is one of the easier jeans to compare across washes.
The High Rise Cheeky Straight Jeans in Medium vintage destroy is $26. The waist run is still 27, 29 and 30, so it suits you if one of those three is your size.

The run skips size 8, so check your size before you plan an outfit around it.
What to do about it
Buy the jeans with complete waist runs first. The Vintage Slim at $23, the ’90s Slim Straight at $26 and the Stride Wide-Leg at $44 each carry every waist from 27 to 33, and only Old Navy’s clearance jeans at $13 to $16 are priced lower on tall denim this week.
Old Navy’s sitewide event and J.Crew’s earlier denim promotion each ran for about a week, which suggests treating this half off rate as short. Buying the sweaters and jeans you already wanted while the size runs are complete is the safer plan.
