Most of Gap’s tall range is half off
Tall jeans made the biggest jump, going from about 35% at half off or better to about 90%, and the typical tall jean price is $44.

J.Crew tall jeans and pants at 40% off
J.Crew has a wide tall sale this week. Tall jeans and pants are at 40% off, and skirts, dresses, blazers and coats are at 30% off. About 65% of J.Crew’s tall jeans and about 80% of its tall pants are on sale.
The slim-wide jean in Resin Rinse is $88 today, which is $60 below the $148 it cost while the promotion was off. The details, along with three poplin dresses at $55 to $90, are in our J.Crew report.

What this means for the next few weeks
Store-wide promotions at these four stores have been running for about a week at a time this fall, so Gap’s jeans with complete waist runs are the ones to act on first.
At Gap, the $23 to $26 jeans and the $34 CashSoft sweaters are the best prices we have seen on those styles. At J.Crew, the jeans at $88 to $95 carry a complete 25 to 32 run, and the Kate straight-leg pant at $79 carries 0 to 16. At Old Navy, several of the dresses at $4 to $10 carry complete runs today, and clearance prices tend to hold until the sizes sell out. Athleta rewards patience on the new fleece, since all of it is at full price today, and rewards action on the Endless pant in Bright White.
