What to do about it
If you want one of the new tall wool coats, buy it in a color that still has your size. These coats have stayed at full price since they arrived, and two of the Luciana colors sold through in tall within a week.
The clearance jeans at $90 to $100 are the exception, since they carry complete 25 to 32 runs and clearance prices tend to hold until the sizes sell out.
The gingham mini dresses at $60 with every size from 2 to 20 are the best summer-to-fall buys in the J.Crew tall section right now.
