What to do about it
If one of the new holiday pieces is on your list, buy it in your size soon. J.Crew’s tall coats have sold through at full price this fall, and the satin barrel pant and tartan shift dress arrived with broken size runs.
Full-price J.Crew jeans are still a wait. The 40% off promotion has been off for three weeks, and it ran for one week at a time when it did appear in September. When it returns, the denim at $148 to $158 should drop to around $89 to $95.
